I'm reading your story and if it hadn't been for your description, which doesn't fit him, I'd have to ask if it was my ex. LOL Not that that would be bad. Any Gilmore Girls on this thread? My dream guy is Jess Mariano. No, seriously, Jess has EVERYTHING I look for in a guy. He's positively gorgeous. I love dark haired guys who are thin and shortish and have their own style. It's the indie kid in me, I suppose. Plus, Jess is smart, a big city kid, a great conversationalist, he loves music and books, and is super romantic (Distillers tickets to make up for behaving like an ass....MARRY ME!!! No, really, I screamed it at my television). And the whole bookstore owner/book printer gig in his last appearance on the show doesn't hurt his image at all.

Fictional character not withstanding, I am totally in love with Jess. I even dig his bad boy qualities because he always lets them go when he's around Rory (er...me?). The only thing I would change is trade Jess' car for the cherried black Charger Milo's leaning on on my desktop.
