I can't work out in the morning. I hate it and am pissed off for the rest of the day- going round talking to people about how it is UNBELIEVABLE that I got up that early and what the hell was I thinking?

Just generally pissed off at having to get up THAT early, lol.

I get up between 5:30 - 6:30 for work purposes. Getting up any earlier to go to the gym before work would be too much.

That's a wide gap..

I say get up around 5:30 and get about 30 min in and then do the rest to head off to work..

I know I know. Still not a morning person. Just a suggestion though.

ETA: Who says you have to go to a gym? Get you a workout tape and call it a day. Turbo Jam is my personal favorite.

Thanks for the tips, but I really really am not going to work out in the morning. I've had great success working out after work- all that's needed is commitment and putting effort into it. I started out with tapes, but I enjoy going to the gym and taking classes- the communal experience helps keep me motivated.

Post 150 Pounds Down (Unofficially)

Today I was down 3.8 lbs at my Weight Watchers WI. I needed another 0.6 to be 150 lbs down (officially) from my highest weight. I came home and weighed myself on our scale and was another 1.2 lbs down (169.4 for a total of 150 lbs lost)!

So rather than grousing about the other 0.6 that I "need," I am claiming the victory now and will be planning my day trip, probably for early August.

I never imagined three years ago when I began my journey that I would be where I am now. I have stretched myself (in body and mind) in ways I would have found inconceivable before.

In the meantime, I am creating my final goal poster (yep, the LV). Onward and downward!

Thanks to everyone on this board for your support! Web site will be coming soon ...
