hello!!
hey ladies! it's so nice to meet you all...i've been a greekchat creeper for a little while now and finally decided to join. hahaha. anyways...
Chapter: Eta Kappa
School: University of California, Irvine
Year joined: Fall 2006
Status: just finished my freshman year

Alum clubs in past or present: none?
Why I chose Alpha Phi: I definitely don't think i'm alone when i say i came to college, never thinking i would join a sorority, being that i was horribly shy and all that in high school. but they say you can be whoever you want when you go away to college so i thought i'd give it a go, go out on a limb, and rush. and from the second i walked into the alpha phi house at UCI, i fell in love. it was so beautiful and the girls were so welcoming and instantly, i didn't feel like i was in a recruitment party, but rather that i was just talking with old friends. without alpha phi, i would've left college long ago...the first weeks were hard, but having sisters there to help me adjust was so amazing. none of my friends back home could believe it...i think they still have a hard time seeing ME as a sorority girl, but it's who i am now. alpha phi is my life =)

Love the sig! yesterday, I heard the actual Yaz song on the radio (it was the old school lunch) and tried to sing the Alpha Phi version along with it

WOW! i didn't even know there was an original song...i THOUGHT it sounded a little familiar, but i never knew about the other version (p.s. TOTALLY bought it on itunes already. hahaha). thanks for the heads up! =)

There is a commercial that had part of the song on there...and automatically i started to sing the Alpha Phi version!! hahaha
