olive green and silver gray

I got to work with Shirley Gee at HQ pack up things for the archives display at convention (which is next week!!!). It probably the coolest thing ever because we got to go through tons of old stuff including the first yearbook to feature KD. SydneyK, I agree that I learned a ton after reading through it.

I also got to handle Geneview Holladay's (aka our first national president) council ring AND handwritten notes from Julia Wilson, where she talked about our founding and the ritual. Reading that gave me chills.

Anyone going to convention needs to check out the archive display. It is going to be awesome!

Early in the 20th Century, there was a debate concerning a woman who claimed (or others had claimed her) to be a fifth founder. Of course, we now know this to be false, but who was this woman?

I remember reading that part--was it the section that says something rather cryptic, like "she wasn't offered membership into Kappa Delta..." or something? I remember thinking that was really an odd/mysterious section. Darn I need a copy of Ordinary Miracles!!!

OK, so I'm finally going to buy Ordinary Miracles. I've wanted it forever and I've finally printed off an order form, cause I hate not knowing all of this cool stuff.

P.S. I STILL wish the video was online like it used to be. It was my favourite!!

That's amazing! I would love to see the archives someday.

Okay, so here's a pretty easy question that's not in the history books. I couldn't decide whether to post it in the NPC Trivia thread or here. (Of course, over there I'd have to get an answer right to post it so....)

There is a secret society in existence today (at some unnamed university ) that was founded in 1900 by members of 3 NPCs. One of those NPCs is Kappa Delta.

What's the name of the secret society? Where is it located? And what two other NPCs were involved in its founding?
