Here's what you do: Tell your family to celebrate the new arrival of baby MSJ (I almost typed MSG, LOL) there should be something new in your lives and then coax them to make the ice cream.

If you can't get you some homemade ice cream, try this:

3 scoops of orange sherbert
2 scoops of rainbow sherbert (or pineapple sherbert)

a half a thing of orange juice
a quarter thing of Tahitian treat (soda pop- I think it's national)

Ice cubes or crushed ice.

Put it in the blender for 3-5 minutes ....now that will get you right!!

(and don't yall act like you don't know what "half a thing" or a "quarter thing" is either.)

Oh what wonderful memories I have of my mom making strawberry ice cream every summer. She calls it her ice-cream social. Good food, great company and lots and lots of ice cream. Every 2nd Saturday in August, this august event occurs. I can't wait for it to happen this year. Yummmy!!!
