I not only saw the day when it was $.99, but when I first started driving, that was a lot! I remember $.75. (why isn't there a cents character on the keyboard???) I also remember when $5.00 of gas lasted a long long time since I pretty much only drove to school and to friends' houses. I bought one gallon of gas last week, the last day I had to drive before pay day just to get through the day of running the kids around to their activities. I get good gas mileage with my Chevy Aveo but my daughter's school is 10 miles round trip. I had to go out there 3 times that day and used that whole gallon of gas. UGH!

Gas prices have come down in Detroit a little bit this week. Last week, it was up around $3.59 but I bought gas yesterday for $3.33. PLEASE go back under $3.. please!!!
