I realize seeing it quoted that I'm implying that Christiangirl is often unchristian, and I don't think I really mean that. She just isn't as mellow and loving as I expect with that screen name.

Oh, it's not that she's uncool. If she had a different name, I probably wouldn't have thought anything about it, but if you go with Christian in your name, I expect a constant message of love, charity, and forgiveness.

(I think the only threads I really remember her from are one in which one, either Christiangirl or Cheerfulgreek, was complaining that everyone thought they were the same, and the other one was the one where she wanted her actual degree at graduation and was mad about someone goofing it up. Nothing really bad in either. )

I know, everyone gets those two mixed up.
I wonder which one was complaining? Which thread was that one? See, I've only seen positive posts from christiangirl. No ones perfect though. We all fall short sometimes.

Lol, mellow and loving? I'm a Christian, not a hippy. Don't worry, I wasn't offended like PB said I would be--I knew what you meant. With an SN like mine, I knew people would expect me to be all "peace and love" or a number of other stereotypes there are about Christians (judgemental, preachy, etc.) I'm very much an individual and don't fit into any one category, so I purposely chose this SN so that (over time) people would see the "Christian" in my name and link it to an actual human being, not a stereotype. I've been here 2 years and it's only beginning to happen.

As for grocery stores....I hate when people are in front of me in the self checkout and they don't know how to work it. Or when I'M using it and it flashes the "Wait for assistance" message and NOBODY comes. Not only does it hold me up, but it plays with my abadonment issues. ETA: Umm...while I'm on the subject of stereotypes, I'd just like to point out that I shop at Wal-Mart. For heaven's sake, I just bought "The Fighting Temptations" for $4.88. Don't fight the roll-back.
