I don't look down on Target. I meant Walmart. I'm from Fargo, but while I was in school I would go to Rainbow and Cubs. I don't see anything wrong with them. At least the people don't look gross there.

Starting in June I won't be living in Minnesota anymore.

You being from Fargo explains a whole lot to me. Rainbow and Cub are less janky than Aldi but are not the creme de la creme of the Twin Cities grocery experience by any means.

And pray tell, what fine stores in Fargo do you shop at?

Ya know, I'm not going to get into where I shop to you guys anymore, because this thread has all of a sudden turned into the cheerfulgreek comedy hour.

So what if I'm from Fargo Mn. Big deal. I'm starting medical school in September so starting in June I won't be in Minnesota at all. I'm done talking about it, so get over it!

I hate it when you're looking for something and the only person around that you ask for help says "Oh, I can't help you, I'm already off the clock" or "It's my break". I dunno, just seems like customer service isn't too high a priority anymore. Then again, this was at Wal-Mart so maybe if they paid their employees a bit more, they'd be happier to help and oh, do their job.

I thought you were starting veterinary school...

If you don't want to be mocked, you need to work on your sentence structure. The way you wrote what you wrote is that you find people at Walmart AND Target to be trashy. Go back and read it out loud-you'll see why people picked this point up.

That's what she said in all the other threads. I mean, I'm not a doctor but I'm pretty sure there's a big difference between med school and vet school. One being, oh, I don't know, the type of patients you learn to deal with, lol.

I wonder if she's going to treat low-class animals...I mean, if their owner shops at Walmart for their pet food, they can't be top tier, can they? Trashy pets just won't due for cheerfulgreek's vet practice.

Ok, how you got into vet or med school is shocking to me. Whatever "book sense" you have, you don't seem to have an ounce of common sense. You make yourself look dumb, so you are either falling into the "oh I'm just a stupid girl" stereotype, or you actually are. I've also never known a vet or med school student who wasn't fully aware of MENSA. LOL. We all say or do stupid things, but after reading a lot of your posts, you are taking the cake.

I'm not offended if you see me as trashy. lol. I shop at DG market so I assume that makes me the lowest of low. Whatever. I don't have to prove that I am this or that on a message board. It's actually almost funny.

However, I was always taught that it was smart to "shop cheap," if you wanted to keep your money. And honey, Crest is Crest, no matter where it is bought. So I'd rather keep what I've saved and go on a great vacation or do something fun. Maybe that explains why hubby and travel four or five weeks a year. lol. I'm just that trashy.

Ooops. Silly me (giggle)

Hey I was on the phone at 1 in the morning while typing at the same time. I was thinking medicine and typed medical. Well, you know what I meant.

I know. I did go back to re-read it, and I saw the typo. I didn't mean Target. Thanks centaur.

No. I made a typo. I'm going to school for veterinary medicine. I've been hearing that it's like medical school but harder. I'll have to wait and see.

I am enjoying all the sassy GPhiB ladies in this thread. Boy have I been away from GC for too long now!

I do shop at Wal-Mart, but that's because they're on every corner here in Alabama, and they're all Supercenters! I was there on Sunday and most everyone was in their Sunday best. I felt like a heathern in my jeans and t-shirt.

But I also shop at Publix (favorite), Food World/Bruno's, and I've been to the new Aldi once. But it sort of freaked me out because it was so. deathly. quiet. And the quarter thing? On the shopping carts?

People who don't move their carts out of the way in a narrow aisle to let you by when they have obviously seen you, or even made eye contact, is what annoys me the most about grocery stores.
