				Baird's Manual

I swear I seen a link a day or 2 ago that mentioned there were still some 1991 Baird's manual available. I have used the search function and advanced search, all to no avail. Can anyone remember where that was posted at and please direct me to the right place.

Many thanks!

Your best bet is to add it to your wishlist on every online bookstore you know of: Amazon.com, half.com, barnesandnoble.com, borders.com, etc. Don't be fussy on what condition it should be in (mine has 3 pages that were photocopied from another Baird's and added in), and expect to pay through the nose!

Oh I know about the prices and such, they are incredible, but I remember seeing a link somewhere that the company was advertising about 30-40 left, all at a reasonable price.

Right now there is one on amazon or alibris for about $75, and I know another place that has one for $115 (I am talking about the 1991 edition).

Also if anyone is interested, the 1912, 1915, and 1920 are all available in PDF format for free to download vis Google Books.

Honestly, I would just go to the nearest library that has it and make copies.

Some of the info in the 1991 edition isn't accurate and a lot of info that was in the earlier ones (like stuff about local fraternities) was omitted.

I tried this route, but the local libraries didn't have it. Good work if you can find it!

I can't help but wonder "who" is Baird's and if another edition is ever going to come out!

The main Carnegie library at CMU has it. At least they did the last time I looked for it. That's how I found out that it sucked.

Thanks, 33. Living out in the sticks has its benefits AND its drawbacks!

Well I know there is a copy at our school library, but there are more people interested in it than can just take that copy, plus they want one for themselves.

Thanks for the link, its not quite the one I was looking for, but it will work.
