I thought Jordin sounded terrible last night but the judges were kissing her butt. I thought Blake sounded horrible as well.
This season was the worst one yet. I really hope they make some changes for next year or else they're going to lose a lot of viewers. I use to be an AI junkie but I didn't even realize the finale was on last night until I flipped through the recorded shows on my DVR and saw it. I fast forwarded through all the garbage - including a bunch of Blake's and Jordin's songs. I just couldn't listen to them butcher another song.
I am excited that "So You Think You Can Dance?" starts up again on Thursday. I like that show more!

The show last night was completely geared to have Jordin win.  AI is really becoming boring. These contestants have no personality and do nothing for me. *shrugs* Maybe next year? I hope so or I'll have to find something else to watch.

Is it me or did Bette do a really shitty job with one of her most favorite songs? And wow, the plastic surgery she must have had. The skin on her face is SO tight.
LMAO at Jerry Springer being there - they cut to him when she finished (think it was him) and he was all teared up.

A lot of people have been dismayed. But I guess since we're all still watching it.... lol
Kelly Clarkson, I love you, but please put on more clothes. Though I am impressed with how much she toned up in a few weeks time.

They do. But last night was the "finale" because it was their last performance.
I don't get the looks in the pic. She wasn't flawless, but she sang that cheesy ass song pretty well. Heck of a lot better than Blake. Seriosuly, Blake doesn't have a very good voice at all. Did he hit any of the high notes in that Maroon 5 song? And that's supposed to be "his" genre.
Horrible finale, though. Boring. There was one good point...
They didn't bring out the gospel choir for the final song!!!
ETA: Don't get me wrong, I luvs me a good gospel choir, but I've always thought it was really dumb to use in all the Idol finales.
