I'm still mad about Kevin Hill.
What happened on One on One? How did that end? That was a cute show.

Its so funny to me how irrelevant black women are to network programming. Half and Half, All of us, Girlfriends and (back in the day) Living single are one of a few shows that I can see myself in the characters. But they will keep shows like charm school (i admit that is my guitly pleasure) and i love new york. Those shows do not represent 'real' black women. But i guess america still isnt ready to see the diversity in black women.

I'm not sure that I totally buy into that. Networks are more about green than black in some cases. The Flavor of Love franchise (as hot trash as it is), has been quite lucrative and that's why VH1 keeps churning out the various off shots. Network television isn't an altruistic endeavor, it's about money.

If we're totally honest, some of "us" aren't ready either (unfortunately).

Ladylike, I've got to agree. As a spin-off example, Imus didn't get the piano-wire treatment because the networks are concerned about social justice.
He got clipped because sponsors, mean green, caiche-foo were dropping off. The bottom line is the only thing that matters, and to many of us, that's somewhat of an alien way of thinking, IMO.
If Flav O Flav and all these spinoffs didn't make money, we wouldn't see it.
Back to Girlfriends, I like shows like it, Cosby, Linc's, Frank's Place. I've seen elements of my life and my friends' lives in them.

Although Kevin Hill's babypeople were cute, I'm not surprised that it was canceled, given the fact that Tay Tay was the lead.

The show went off with us seeing them in bed sleeping. That doesn't mean that they "slept" together.
