Definitely ask UK's Greek advisor - this may be an exception to the 1 year rule. A sorority at my campus recolonized, and some of the women dropped out after a month or 2 (while it was still a colony) and were allowed to rush again the next semester. They had really not signed a "bid card" so they weren't bound for a year. Again, the Greek advisor is the one who would have to tell you what's up. Good luck!
