Good summary, OTW. I heard that Luka will be making cameo appearances, but just won't be a regular. That new ER Chief is a piece of work! IMHO, Sarah (Gates' non-DNA daughter) was sent off with the grandparents so Gates can enjoy some love interest(s) - which will probably include Neela. Having Ray go home to Louisiana was just too contrived - come on, he'd have some sort of accent if N'Awlenz was his hometown! I would have believe Wichita or Portland much easier! And didn't Luka take a backward glance once he was out of the Kennedy? Or was that Ray?
At the very end, Neela has wandered into an anti-war rally (I think at Grant Park), and Gates, although very far behind her, spots her just as a riot breaks out. Neela looks fairly trampled and Gates can't get to her.
Hope's "real name" is Busy Phillips?! Her parents must have hated her!

I cannot stand John Stamos' character on ER. I wish he would go away. And i'm still mad at the show for what they did to Ray...I really liked where his relationship with Neela was heading, then they go and run him over with a truck?! Cut off his legs and send him off with his mother to Louisiana? Dammit, Shane West was my eye candy on that show!
