That was really unnecessary- along with most of the name calling and comments on this thread. PenguinTrax is routinely fair and gives warnings before locking threads. Other mods would have locked this thread or deleted it entirely a long time ago. Barbara was making a suggestion/warning. Your comment was uncalled for.

You are incorrect. People will join only the organization to which they are INVITED through the chapter. PERIOD.
Just because someone WANTS to join or is even QUALIFIED to join does NOT mean they will become a member. Yes, as a member, we CAN make the decision for them.
Again, an individual's vote is PRIVATE and does not have to be justified to anyone, inlcuding the NATIONAL PRESIDENT of said organization.
