This season was a bust IMO.. but I do watch faithfully...lol

I think Melinda and Blake should be the Final 2. Jordin was ok but she never really vocally did it for me. that horrid breathing in the mic she does kills me. She needs a bit more time and also she needs a musical identity

the only performances that i really liked yesterday were blake's second song and melinda's last song.

I think it must sound a lot different there in the theater than it does over the tv. I am a Melinda fan but I thought her first song was horrible and the judges just went ape over it. I enjoyed Blake's second and third songs, but he just isn't a great vocalist - just an entertaining guy.

Same here. I was waiting for Simon to tell her that she can't hit the high notes and her vocals were all the over the place. Instead he told her that it was one of her best performances. What?!

I was in the audience during a taping of Season 1 (toward the end of the season). They sounded way different live than on TV!

If so many of you think the show has lost its luster, or that the season has been a bust, why do you continue to watch it every week? By doing that all you're doing is rewarding crap.

I used to be a faithful watcher of AI (Grey's Anatomy too), but only watch the performance nights on occasion now. I never watch the results shows. Why did I stop watching? All the product placement and manufactured drama drove me crazy. I found it insulting.

If you're not entertained by a TV show like AI, don't watch it! If you continue to do so, all we'll get is sucky TV. Demand better options!
