Did Y'all Hear About This?
BEYONCE BUMPS Kelly Rowland FROM VIBE COVER
Pop beauty Beyonce bumped her best friend Kelly Rowland from the June 2007cover reports Media Take Out.
Vibe reportedly promised the June cover to Kelly months ago. A insider claims, "Usually, we try and give the cover to an artist whose album drops that month. So for example, we had R Kelly [who's album Double Up drops May 29th] on the cover of the May issue ... When Kelly announced that she was releasing her comeback album in June, we set her to cover the June issue."
"About a month ago, we started hearing that Beyonce wanted to do an interview with us - so we jumped at it." The insider continued, "Usually when Beyonce gives us an interview - we give her the cover ... but we figured that since [she] and Kelly are so close, she wouldn't ask us for it."
But Beyonce's reps reportedly demanded that she be on the cover. "They were basically like - if you don't put her on the cover, then don't expect any interviews in the future ... We almost couldn't believe what we were hearing."

And here is the Vibe cover for Beyonce:
And here WAS the Vibe cover for Kelly Rowland:

Singing Dionne Warwick's, "That's What Friends are For."
I hope this works!

Delph I can't see the pics. I wanted to see Kelly's cover. And the Beyonce article did not shed any light on anything. Boo on B!!

Neither one of the covers are worth anything. Why not put Christette Michelle on the cover?

I wonder though if this is really the case or is somebody just trying to kick up mess between the two again. I mean VIBE has released issues with several different covers in one month... so maybe that's the case?! If not then she is dead wrong for bumping her "friend" like that... but I guess it's the nature of the business, right?

I also think this is a double cover as well. More people would probably buy the Beyonce cover instead of Kelly but oh well. Now them bumping Xtina off the cover for Bobby Brown and making Mary look like an alien...now that's an injustice! Vibe's gone to hell in a handbasket anyway.

Media Take Out is notoriously unreliable, so I take this with a grain of salt. However, I like Kelendria Trene's short hairdo on this cover. Better than the wet and wavy on Beyonce Giselle.

I have another theory. There may have been plans to do a double cover, but since Vibe's sales have done down, they can probalby only afford to do B on the cover, in a way to boost sales.

I'm taking the story with the VIBE covers with a chunk of salt.
Look at Bey's cover that includes text.
Now, look at Kelly's cover:
How would a magazine cover text on the cover with an elbow? If nothing else, the elbows and/or biceps would be covered by the text, and I could see some alphabets or symbols. (VIBE has always allowed the title of the mag to be covered, so that's not up for debate.) Looks like some technological tomfoolery to create a situation to hype up a blog to.
And that is a beautiful (somewhat) natural pic of Kelly. Better than one with vast amounts of weave and makeup that I saw recently.

Look at the area above Kelly's left arm (next to All-City Summer Guide). There is a lot of white space. If you look at Beyonce's picture, the square background pattern is consistent throughout. This is evidence of Photoshopping. The BIGGEST telltale sign is the top portion of the cover that says: Ne-Yo * Rich Boy * Kelly Rowland * Fabolous. Why would "Kelly Rowland" have a small featured article in the magazine in which she has the cover story?
This is all a hoax and a sad attempt to destroy Beyonce's credibility, as well as her relationship with Kelly. Why folks gotta hate on B?

I agree that drippy, "I just got out the shower" look is not where it's at!!! Not very becoming.

Hasn't Vibe done 2 different covers for the same month before?
Should have paid my bill, I wonder which cover I would have received.
B and Kelly are tight. If their relationship hasn't suffered yet, I doubt it will ever.

They have. Perfect example: When Survivor came out, there was a cover of DC looking like The Supremes and there was a cover of them looking like themselves. I agree with what AKA2D91 said.

At The Color Purple premiere, I heard people weren't even paying attention to Rrrrrrrrr. It was all about O!
Glad to see than JHud and Andre made up. But that jacket was still ugly.
