I prefer bigger dogs (Labs, German Shephards) but got a Bichon Frise when I moved into an apartment, and I'm obsessed with her...she has so much energy, and such a sparkly personality, loves every dog, cat, person, etc that she meets.
She doesn't look like a Bichon though...she's only 7lb, so we guess she was a runt, because one of her sisters belongs to one of
mysisters, and she is 15lbs. And we keep Holly shaved, because on a daily basis she is rolling in mud, ripping open and getting covered in toothpaste, jumping into the bathtub to play when I'm heating up the shower in the morning...and her normally curly cotton coat is too much work for such a messy pup.
