BASSET HOUNDS! They have a wonderful, playful personality despite the sad face. Forrest is my baby, and even though he is seven now, I thoght I would post some of his baby pics.

When he was little he used to like to sleep in our linen closet. We'd search all over for him, and he'd be on an electric blanket in there...

8 pages and I'm the first person to have a Weimaraner?

Here's my Fredo last summer when he was a puppy - he's not this tiny anymore.

I've always been more of a cat person - he's the first dog I have ever owned. But, my kids love him to death, and he's become like my 3rd baby.

My family's dog is a Chihuahua. We also had a Dachshund mix. My grandmother has always had German Shepherds. Otherwise, I also like Beagles and Italian Greyhounds.

I love, love, love boxers! They are so great with kids (very important with my boys - 4 and 5 yrs. old). My current wigglebutt is Kaiser Chief - only problem is he thinks he is a lap dog, and tries to "sneak" all 65 lbs. into your lap when you are not looking!

I prefer bigger dogs (Labs, German Shephards) but got a Bichon Frise when I moved into an apartment, and I'm obsessed with her...she has so much energy, and such a sparkly personality, loves every dog, cat, person, etc that she meets.

She doesn't look like a Bichon though...she's only 7lb, so we guess she was a runt, because one of her sisters belongs to one of mysisters, and she is 15lbs. And we keep Holly shaved, because on a daily basis she is rolling in mud, ripping open and getting covered in toothpaste, jumping into the bathtub to play when I'm heating up the shower in the morning...and her normally curly cotton coat is too much work for such a messy pup.

Holly:
