Dial Idol was showing him as being in the bottom.. but then they haven't been all that accurate this season.

I wonder if Ryan Adams is pissed that they kept saying When the Stars Go Blue is a Tim McGraw song.

Just ask Dolly Parton what she thinks of Whitney and "I Will Always Love You".

I have a chapter sister who didn't believe that it was actually a song pre-Tim McGraw.

I sent her the mp3s of Ryan Adams, Bono/Corrs, and OTH and even she agreed that those versions are way better.

I agree that Chris sounded pretty bad. Even Simon said he was good though??? I didn't think anyone was that great to be honest. I like Jordin, but when Randy said that was the best vocal ever on AI, I thought that was quite the stretch.

Okay, so the drummer needs to lay off the cowbell. I've noticed it being really strong in several songs. Particularly in Melinda's.



The only person I've been even mildly entertained by is Blake. The rest was like bad karaoke. Bon Jovi is pretty standard fair for karaoke.

I hate when they narrow it to one band that they can pick songs from it really screws a lot of people. Bon Jovi has a good amount of songs, but they all want to pick songs that the crowd knows. But one band's songs are not one-size-fits-all

Good point! Which is also one of the reasons we've rarely heard that song on idol.. I don't think Dolly has released the rights to it.

I love Tim McGraw and all but I hate his version of When the Stars Go Blue.
