Good.
People rarely get apologized to just because charges are dropped against them.
Was O.J. Simpson apologized to when the criminal case fell through? Nope because many people still felt he was guilty even if the "glove didn't fit" or there may've been evidence planted. But the civil case was successful which lets us know that the legal realm has all sorts of loopholes.

In your opinion, are these boys guilty? Do you think they did it?

I haven't formed an opinion on their guilt or innocence. I tend not to form opinions because I strongly believe in waiting for the legal system.

Uhhhhhh.... didn't they already say the boys are guilty? OF COURSE THEY ARE! The "victim" is black.

But the legal system has exonerated them. They were never proven guilty in a court of law, nor is it likely that a civil case will be brought against them for the same alleged crime.

Let me see if I follow: You haven't formed an opinon, because you wait for the legal system. The legal system has made its decision, but you still haven't formed an opinion? This causes me to question the reliability of your first statement.
Also, if you have no opinion, are you simply choosing to play devil's advocate for those who think they are innocent. I don't agree with the thought that 2 guys who really had nothing to do with the case should apologize, but you keep implying that they're not innocent.

Exactly.
You asked for my personal opinion of their guilt or innocence. Not one based on what the courts have decided. I wait on the legal system for final decisions because personal opinions are pointless. I don't wait on the legal system because it has any bearing on my personal opinion.

No. The devil doesn't need an advocate.

It's called different burdens of proof. He was proved to be a killer by a preponderance of the evidence, but not by reasonable doubt.
Are you suggesting that we white people 'owe' the black people one for O.J.? -- that this evens out the karmic race war?
