It is everything - the international organization of Gamma Phi Beta, and each member is a petal of this flower. And that is the legend, the heritage of the pink carnation. The pink carnation is a symbol of the life of the sisterhood, of the life of each Gamma Phi Beta. Whatever has been in the past is not gone - it lives forever in the root of the flower. Whatever will be in the future is the nourishment from which the flower will gain new strength for further growth. The pink carnation is Gamma Phi Beta"
