and although they haven't said it on the news that I can remember, I'm guessing that there is a history of violence because when the story first broke and she was just a missing person, the mom was on the news saying that she was hoping that maybe he had just beat her up pretty badly and was just hiding her until her wounds healed.

that plus the age difference (she was 19 and he is 27) sends a messge to women out there that if things SEEM strange with your man or the man in a loved one's life, then THEY PROBABLY ARE!! His aunt has been on the news the last two days talking about how he grew up with a troubled life. The whole thing is just so scary.

**SMH** That is a mess there is no way that my mother would ever say some foolishness like that.

ETA: Update

I saw that on Channel 9 - and what I can't figure is how someone would leave a child in all that mess. If a "daycare" center would not let me past the front door, I would leave with my child THAT SECOND and never come back.
