Melinda looks very strange to me. She looks like a 40-something year old woman. I can't believe that she is only in her late twenties - she does NOT look like it. I don't know - there is just something bizarre about her appearance. And I really feel like there is Fanfasia Jr on the stage when Stephanie sings. All she needs is to say she goes to church to "get her sang on" and throw in some "yeah yeah yeah yeah's" -- she reminds me of Fanfasia so much.

(OTW - remember raising hell over Fanfasia - ah, the good 'ol days )

Oh, and I know by saying this she will either win or be in the top 3 - but I cannot STAND Gina - ugh ugh ugh - I like absolutely nothing about her.

Yes...Fanfasia. Still don't like her and just about barfed when Lifetime decided to do an autobiopic about her life.

And Melinda..I like.

But she has no neck.

You're not. I think Fantasia sucks and is absolutely horrible. This makes me racist according to GCers. I do think that Stephanie, Lakisha and Melinda are amazing and I'd be happy to see any of the three win the competition. But I guess I'm still racist because I think Fantasia can't sing.

I'm still in the middle of watching over here, but I think the Diana Ross theme was an unfortunate choice for the guys. They must really REALLY want a girl to will this year.

I like Gina, just didn't like the song. But I'm a Melinda fan, big teeth/no neck and all.

Now I have to suffer through Sanjaya...

LOL--my husband said the same thing! I like Melinda though--she OWNER her performance last week.
