Please I like that she seems.. softer, I guess. There's that whole Melinda/LaKisha big, powerful, voice mold and she's different than that. It's nice to have variety.

I kind of like her too - I think she's spunky. I think Sabrina fell victim to the fact that there are several "big voice" women in the competition - I think they're probably splitting votes.

Sabrina didn't stand out to me as much as the other big voices in the competition. However, I still would have sent Haley home before Sabrina.

And don't EVEN get me started on Sanjaya!!! Grrrr my friends and I were all yelling at the TV when Ryan said that Sanjaya made it.

Do you guys watch American Idol Rewind? I didn't bother at first because I thought it was just outtakes of the really horrible contestants from seasons past.

I managed to catch it last Saturday and found that they're re-airing the performance episodes from Season 1. It's so weird to see how different AI is now. The semi-final round is 200% more glamorous than when Kelly and Justin and the rest of the Season 1 contestants performed.

Melinda looks very strange to me. She looks like a 40-something year old woman. I can't believe that she is only in her late twenties - she does NOT look like it. I don't know - there is just something bizarre about her appearance. And I really feel like there is Fanfasia Jr on the stage when Stephanie sings. All she needs is to say she goes to church to "get her sang on" and throw in some "yeah yeah yeah yeah's" -- she reminds me of Fanfasia so much.

(OTW - remember raising hell over Fanfasia - ah, the good 'ol days )

Oh, and I know by saying this she will either win or be in the top 3 - but I cannot STAND Gina - ugh ugh ugh - I like absolutely nothing about her.

Yes...Fanfasia. Still don't like her and just about barfed when Lifetime decided to do an autobiopic about her life.

And Melinda..I like.

But she has no neck.
