based on the every alpha xi chapter thread, the Beta Epsilon chapter at Monmouth College was open from 1932 - 1980 then recolonized in 1997 and I believe is still open. She probably was thinking of the college, not university.

I agree with Amanda ... I'll bet she was thinking Monmouth College (in Ill) not Monmouth University.

We have an alum from Beta Epsilon (Monmouth College) in our alum association.
