As an English teacher, I'm totally with you! I also have a problem when people don't know the difference between a noun and a verb--to RESPOND is an action, thusly a verb. A RESPONSE is the noun ol' girl needed! Where I think she belongs is remedial English OR a keyboarding class.  |
I totally agree... and since we're talking English... it drives me nuts when people are past the 2nd grade and still aren't sure which form of you're/your their/there/they're to use.
