I haven't heard anything about the show being cancelled but I've been seeing commercials saying something about them "moving to DirecTV." What does that mean? Anybody else have this guilty pleasure, like me?

NBC cancelled Passions so they can add a fourth hour to "Today Show." In September it is moving exclusively to DirecTV. So, that is why you keep hearing DirecTV pop up in dialogue and the ads to sign up to continue to watch it.

Darn! I used to watch that mess everyday for years when it first started (June of going into my jr. year of high school!!). And now that Congress is in recess and I'm only working 2hr days for the month, I watch it EVERY time I'm in the office. I guess I need to pick another soap, just so I can watch the same storyline again next summer.

Yes! I watch this soap opera whenever I get a chance! I have watched it since the beginning. A lot of the story lines are far-fetched and cheesy, but I look at it as a guilty pleasure.

Okay has anyone been watching now that it is one DirectTV? I ask because I keep up by reading Soap Opera Digest and YouTube (LOL). Anyways, I know via YouTube that Gwen showed up with a baby saying it was hers and Ethans. Okay, fine I get that. Doctors are wrong all the time. The confusing thing for me is that the baby is sick now and for some reason Gwen said that Ethan wasn't the father (I believe it was because he signed off for a procedure that she didn't agree with). Can anyone give me the 411 one this because I just want to know what the heck is going on.

I can't watch it anymore because of the stupid apartment complex making us pull our DirecTV dish. But, I remember reading that the baby is not Gwen and Ethan's, and that is why she wouldn't let him approve the procedure.

According to this week's Soap Opera Digest, Jane ends up being the donor for the procedure the new baby needs.
