My dad bought himself both the PS3 and the Wii. He decided that he didn't like the Wii as much so he gave it to me for my birthday. My fiance and I have officially turned into nerds...we stayed home last night and played Wii Sports. So fun.

So we gave in and got one for $300 on ebay. It is so much fun. Right now we only have the Wii Sports game that it came with, but we love playing it. You can actually get a little bit of a workout playing tennis and boxing!

I don't even really like video games, and have never owned a consol in my life, but I tried the Wii for the first time at a friend's house last night and had a ball! I'm actually encouraging my bf to get one.

I bought a Wii last night from Wal-Mart at the retail price of $249. I got the last one. I finally got it connected to my wireless Internet this morning. I played all the sports games last night just to test them out. It can be tiring. The games will tell you to take a break; however, I kept on going. Wal-Mart was out of Zelda, so I will go to a game store today and purchase it. I'm in love with the Wii.

Zelda's definately worth it
and lol at the games telling you to take a break. I clearly haven't played Wii Sports enough, but my TV is on the floor right now and it's hard to play tennis while sitting on the floor.

I've never been crazy for console games. I had an Atari growing up and I would play the original Nintendo with the boy I used to baby sit; but, I didn't really care about the PS or Xbox.
However, the Wii is very cool. I played it at my in-laws house and was sore the next day from boxing. Then my brother-in-law brought his new one over, and now I'm hooked! I absolutely need to get my hands on one.

I bought it today another Wal-Mart. However, I haven't played it yet. I will start after I finish my laundry.

Has anyone gotten Wii Play? The reviewer in my paper didn't like it but it comes w/ an extra controller so it's basically a 10 dollar game (assuming you WANT a controller). I thought it might be fun to play with my family...
