Am I the only person...

...who isn't excited about this show returning?? Maybe it's because I don't identify with them as a model black family. Maybe it's because I think those kids are overly spoiled. Maybe it's because I don't necessarily condone them exploiting their personal family business (eg. the pregnancy). Either way, I'm sure millions will watch and I will probably find myself watching an episode or two when there is nothing else on.

I see the show differently. I don't see the children as being spoiled. They look and act like normal kids whose parent(s) just happen to be a little bit wealthy. As for them "exploiting" the pregnancy, I don't see that at all. I think that they may have one or two episodes about the pregnancy, but then it will be good to see them working through it and going back to "normal" (if there is such a thing after losing a chid). We were there when she decided to have another baby. We were there when they found out that they were pregnant and all the other aspects of the pregnancy. If they baby had lived, there wouldn't be an issue. We'd all be excited to see the interaction with the new addition to the family. This is just an unexpected situation.

I can't wait for the show to return!!

Rev. Run and Justine were just on the Wendy Williams show the other day and sounded like they have accepted what happened to their daughter and put their faith in God and have accepted the fact that He had other plans for her. I think Justine actually just got a book published and was getting ready for a book signing.

Personally I enjoy the show. I don't think the kids are spoiled either. I think they are just living the lifestyle that they have been afforded because of their parents.

Y'all know I love this show, and I saw some of the previews after the show that they showed on BET last night, so you know I can't wait. They showed a snippet of them being in the hospital and Justine explaining to either Russy or Diggy that the baby died.

I think that's Diggy. It was sad because (I'm assuming) none of them were there at the hospital when she went into labor. So imaginw coming to the hospital to see your new little sister to find out that she passed away.

That snippet made me come in with my previous post of excitement about the return of the show. Good thing April isn't that far away!
