There was a thread about this but I'm too lazy to search. SCU's prez decided to disband the Greek system so they are not recognized on campus any longer. Some sororities have a clause that says they will not operate at a place where sororities are not recognized or not condoned by the administration. DZ may have a clause like this - they didn't WANT to leave and the chapter hadn't done anything wrong, but according to their bylaws they cannot stay without school support.
