While I agree it takes guts to go back to a chapter that cut you, I also agree that there are reasons that you may have gotten cut that aren't very valid. While I wouldn't want a sister in my chapter that another sister had an intial problem with, i.e. just slept with sister's boyfriend, I know from experience that at larger schools it is easy for there to be a glitch and a regret happen that wasn't fully deserved.
So I say do COB and find out what happens. If you're truly not meant to be there and it was more than a glitch, you'll find out soon enough.
