i would urge you not to ask the sorority members how many bids they will be extending-it might look needy. if they bring up the topic, that's different, tho.

Some schools, like Hofstra in NY, actually pledge more women during informal recruitment than formal. For example, quota for Spring 2006 was 8. Clearly someone needs to be working on advertising etc here b/c 8 quota just does not pay the bills. Total is 50. Most groups took 8-11 in informal in the Fall.
