How odd is it that the lack of blockbuster sales this year was not attributed to the lack of blockbuster groups?
No matter how hard they try, the industry can no longer fool the public the way the have managed to continue to fool the media.
We already know that 90% of the music out there is a joke. Now, we don't have to buy a $17.00 album to prove it. $10 CDs are cool, but I'm still gonna burn, burn, burn. I refuse to support a horrible artist simply because they were dumb enough to sign a contract for pennies on the dollar, all the while bling-blinging in a rap video.
Simply put, the industry's had it fun with the price-fixing, clever marketting strategies, payolas, etc. Now, for once, it is at the mercy of the people, and we're sooooo loving it.
