I'm hoping it's the first one because it's nuts and I can't log in right now!

Sorry, that stinks. I'm actually logging onto Facebook a bit more these days because MySpace has been so quirky (to put it kindly). My page isn't all that complicated either, so I can't imagine how it's been for people with graphics, etc.

Apparently this MySpace thing is serious business. I just moved a friend out of my Top 12 because I haven't hung out with her in a while. I replaced her with another friend that I've been doing lunch with everyday. I didn't think it was a big deal. She did. And now she's not on speaking terms with me. Are we 13 years old again???
Do you all get upset if a friend moves you out of their Top friends? I never found it to be issue if a friend moved me out but other people have told me that I committed a huge sin or something. I'm kinda new to MySpace so I don't know what is considered a MySpace faux pas.

I really, really, really wish I were. Honestly, I'm not even mad. I think it's more funny than anything. Immaturity at its finest.
ETA:
I had dinner plans with this girl tonight. I've sent her an email asking her what's going on and she hasn't responded. I've called her and she won't answer. I guess it's safe to say that I no longer have plans with her tonight! I haven't dealt with petty stuff like this since middle school. argh.

I've decided I'm doing my Ph.D on how myspace destroys relationships... in my counseling sessions, couples get so upset when one person is higher on a friends list than the other is on the other spouse's list... or when one doesn't say anything about him/her on their page. it seems so juvenile, but i'm dealing with the effects of it in the counseling room, and while these people are mad/in pain, I can't help but laugh sometimes.

THat's actually a really good idea. I've heard of marriages ending because the wife found the husband's myspace and it said he was single, had no kids (they had a kid) and was there for dating and serious relationships
An aquaintance of mine and her husband have been having... issues, to put it lightly, so she completely deleted him from her "Top 8"... that same girl got mad at a friend of theirs and deleted him from her list completely and blocked him.
Are we 8 again?

I don't even look at my friends pages enough to find out if I'm in their top whatever. The only person I'd give a hard time about taking me out of his #1 spot would be my boyfriend, and even then I'd only be joking. Maybe a little wounded for a minute & a half, but nothing to worry about.

You haven't been spamming your web cam, have you?
As far as the top goes, I have heard about people getting all upset about it but always thought it was a joke. My top 8 is reserved for Nigerian love scammers. All my real friends are set randomly on the pages by the system.

Is there any way of getting someone banned or their account deleted from myspace?
The same creepy guy from high school that was myspace stalking me & posting pictures of me all over his page is doing it again. I am extremely aggravated by this creep. I've reported his page for the 10th time and all they do is remove my pictures which he promptly puts back up again.
What's creepy is that he has pictures of all these girls from high school (which was 10 years ago) and posts them as all his ex-girlfriends. He even scanned the prom book and the yearbook and his high school diploma on his page. The guy is super freaking creepy.

I have seen many deleted, mostly for spamming. Not sure what it takes if your actions aren't enough.
Perhaps you could invite a bunch of folks to leave him some comments?
