Here is what found from an article interviewing Bubbles on December 5th.
"In March, "The Wire" begins production for a fifth and final season, which is expected to run in either late 2007 or early 2008 and will focus on the media of Baltimore".

I will feel lost this Sunday with no more Wire episodes to look forward too this year or the next. I was just wondering if anyone had any favorite episodes or scene? Although I thoroughly enjoyed the whole season the part I most recently enjoyed was watching Namond slap the living daylights out that little kid and in the last episode when Marlo went to speak with the Greek man...The way the Greek man was like I don't know you and I don't need to know you. Something about that part I just loved! So which has been your favorite?
Also...I don't know if it is mention but where the hell is Omar going with all that money? Did he say if he was leaving B-More?

I totally missed Bodie in OZ... how could I? I noticed Stabler... hmmm
I wanna know how Randy's gonna turn out in season 5...Marlo and Chris are not gonna let Michael continue being friends with him

I think that Marlo will order Michael to kill Randy like Bodie was ordered to kill his friend ( I forget his name)

I think the kid's name was Malcolm....dang you got me pulling waaaay back in the memory bank for that one....lol....that was probably my favorite season....I loved me some Avon and Stringer!!! (plus my lil Bodie...  )

Even though I enjoyed The Wire because it is one of my favorite shows, I have to agree with you in that I did not like the editing. However, I will settle for the editing just to see Idris Elba AKA Stringer Bell. That man is FINE!!!!
