Toshibas are stellar. Good call. Dells are for the kids who want to have a PC but can't afford nice ones.

My Dell was more expensive than your Toshiba. In fact, I made sure to overpay, refusing any instant savings.

You can double bill later to make up for it.

So I just found that my best friend didn't show up to the LSAT's yet again. She's also going to retake the Kaplan courses yet again. This means that her parents have paid for her not to show up three times, as well as for two Kaplan courses. Something tells me that she isn't actually going to go to law school.

Wow. If I were her parents, I would cut her off. That's A LOT of wasted money. Not to mention that three cancelled tests in a row does not look very good if she does apply.

Her parents are incredibly patient. Incredibly. I wish mine would be like that sometimes.

I think this is pretty common. I probably have more friends who did test prep and decided against taking it than who actually went through with it. Half my fraternity has toyed with the idea of law school, they buy books, some take Kaplan, only to decide against it.

Congratulations, that's awesome. You must feel, at the least, really relieved.

The school I chose ended up being the first one that got back to me, so hopefully things work out just as well for you.

I've spent 12 hours studying for exams today. Oy.

Congrats adpiucf!

Unlike the rest of these folks, I actually chose the last school that accepted me (for a various number of reasons, PM me if you really care)...but I would've happily gone to the first couple of schools I heard from. I had actually gone on vacation for a while right when things started coming back, so I came back from vacation and found 3 acceptances in my mailbox. What happiness that was!

It is always nice to know though that you're going to law school somewhere.

Thankfully I'm done with actual exams from the semester (stop throwing things at me!)--BUT I still have a 20 min. presentation to give and a 20 pg. paper to write so sadly the 'fun' ain't over yet .

Good luck to everyone finishing up!

Unless she had amazing undergrad and gets great LSAT scores, she'll be lucky to overcome all of those missed LSATs. That just has to look horrible to admissions departments.

I've heard of people taking the test and then not applying, but I haven't heard of someone no-showing it multiple times, and then applying.

Yeah, I can't believe she no-showed that many times. I had a few friends who no-showed once if something really presssing came up, like their team suddenly making the playoffs or grandma dying, but not three no-shows!
