Wow, how come I've never looked in this thread!
Congrats to everyone and their weight removal plan (see I said weight removal, cuz I know no one is trying to find any weight they've lost).
I too am on a weight removal program through WW and so far so so.

I did SB from Nov. 03 till April/May 04 and dropped 50lbs and have kept off about 20lbs of it. The one thing I realized was that if you don't watch your carb intake, you will put it all back on and then some.
But now that I'm on WW, I'm a lot more aware of other issue with my food like fiber in take. I thought I knew a lot about food, but I didn't know diddly! So since June, I'm down 16lbs and one dress size (aint seen since high school)!
Keep up the good work everyone, and I'll be participating in these discussions..support is the best thing to weight removal

Hey y'all!! Just poppin' in to say heeeeeeeeyyyyyyy and congrats to all on the losses! Glad everyone made it thru the holiday unscathed, lol. I actually lost a pound last week! Can't believe it! Still strugglin', though. I don't know what's wrong with me on the exercise tip, I really don't. At any rate, I hope everything is well with everyone. I haven't read all the recent posts, but I did see BabyBlue's news!!!! GO 'HEAD GIRL!!!!

The highlight of my life right now as it pertains to weight loss? I went thrifting and bought a size 12 pair of pants!!!! They're designer, but SO WHAT!!!! I ain't know what to do with myself!!! I'ma wear them to bible class this coming Sabbath!

Keep up the good work ladies, and stay encouraged!

Cool

Today I reached Onederland for the first time in 16 years (yep, since my late teens). I almost cried at the scale, and the two WW staff came and hugged me, as did several members.

I simply cannot believe it. I went through college and my entire career (so far) in my 200s (and later 300s). I am sure that everyone in my circle is going to take time to adjust to my new physique.

May you all have a blessed holiday and healthy goals for 2007!

Welcome back, welcome back, welcome back!!! Girl, congratulations!!!!! I feel you on the tears. I think it's because I never thought I'd see ONEderland ever again, and to be here . . . it's ONEderful, lol. Girl, our stories are almost mirroring one another's. It's been 14 years for me, since I was 18. And I am NEVER leaving ONEderland again, you hear me? NEVER!!! Because trying to get BACK is too hard. Staying here is even harder. I have so much to say on this subject, but I'ma put it in My Fantastic Voyage. Right after I leave GC.

Fitness magazine?

Healthy treat (dessert-wise)?

Healthy snack?

Healthy meal (at home)?

Healthy meal (dining out)?

Weight-loss website?

Exercise DVD? A Walking DVD that incorporates weight training. It's low-impact, but I sweat!

Fitness magazine? Shape

Healthy treat (dessert-wise)? Weight Watchers English Toffee Crunch Ice Cream

Healthy snack? Quakers caramel and apple rice snacks

Healthy meal (at home)? Baked chicken and some vegetable

Healthy meal (dining out)? Applebee's WW menu: Steak & Shrimp kabobs

Weight-loss website? Weight Watchers

"Trick" to stay on plan? I have a sign placed right by my bed that says: "Wake your fat arse up and work out!" That works! Also seeing pictures of my past and comparing them to current pics.

Exercise DVD? Turbo Jam Cardio Party Mix 1

Fitness magazine? Weight Watchers Magazine and Looking Good Now! (sadly, this mag is discontinuing publication)

Healthy treat (dessert-wise)? Jello FF/SF Chocolate Pudding with Cool Whip Free Topping

Healthy snack? Fresh fruit (apples, grapes)

Healthy meal (at home)? Steamed broccoli with lean chicken or shrimp

Healthy meal (dining out)? Wendy's Large Chili, Side Salad

Weight-loss website? Weight Watchers,

"Trick" to stay on plan? I reward myself after every 25 pounds. I put a photo of my next reward on the fridge and do a countdown of how much I need to lose to get it. When I lose, I cross out the previous number and write the next number below it. When I get to the last 10, I write the numbers in red.

I'on know if this would be considered a trick, but I just got through reading this book by one of the doctors that appeared on Oprah, Dr. Oz. The book, YOU on a Diet was the best thing I could have every read that really looked at dieting from a medical, psychological, mental, emotional and physiological point of view and it made more sense as to why things happen (at least for me) the way they do. The one thing that stuck out to me was the food meter, gagging your fullness. I’ve incorporated a lot of the food, exercise and thought process from the book. Eat walnuts (which I use to hate till now) before a meal; ask yourself, if you are really hungry and why do you want to eat? So far so good, I’m down 20lbs from my start on WW in June, done to a size 14/16 (the 16’s are getting a bit too lose) and discovering my curves and my butt
