I would somewhat have to agree and disagree with you, of course that is probably because we are in different areas of the country.
But yes, I would 100% agree with you that it is very easy to bring a lawsuit against a frat, or for that matter anyone.
Thing is, at least in my area, that scenario you gave probably would not end up in criminal court.
However, as a civil matter, get out the checkbook!
