I don't know. I'm a glutton, I love everything. scratch that. Instead of turkey, I'd rather have cornish hen.

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope my uncle's girlfriend don't bring that sad pan of brownies! Surely she has got to know that we don't get down like that. Last year was her first thanksgiving with us and she should have felt really bad when she put them dry, Sahara desert looking things on the table with homemade chocolate cakes, and pies. If you're not gonna do it right just do like I do and bring sodas!

Thumbs up

I love Thanksgiving! I just put the sweet potatoes and wild rice dressing in the oven. I made sweet potato pie, pecan pie, blackberry cobbler, pound cake, cornbread muffins and yeast rolls yesterday. I also smoked a turkey. Today I'm making oyster dressing, cornbread dressing, greens, green beans, creamed onions, fruit salad, candied sweet potatoes, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, and "chitlins" (yes, we always have them for the old folks).

My husband is in charge of frying the turkey, so I have it all seasoned and ready to go. I know it seems like a lot, but we have about 20 people coming over. I can't wait too see everyone (can you tell that I'm excited?)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

ETA: I didn't really stick with the original post. sorry!

Happy Thanksgiving Day!!!!

I've already put on five pounds since yesterday. I did my cooking yesterday: Cornish hens, cornbread dressing, mac & cheese, sweet potatoes, potato salad, collard greens and cabbage, rolls, cornbread, apple pie, and devil eggs. Today, I will be at moms house stuffing myself. That will be another five pounds

post-Thxsgiving

I realize the holiday is over, but XMAS is right around the corner.

I was so hoping that Friend A had dinner at her house ant not Friend B - dinner was at Friend B

Was so hoping Friend B had it catered or asked folks to bring food - Friend B cooked

Was so hoping Friend B did not make that nasty but oyster dressing - Yep, you guessed right!!!

So hoping I order Picaddilly in time for my own Xmas dinner
