So we like alot of things that other people like. Surprise! If she likes M&Ms then get her M&Ms. Use your creativity on the wording, if any. There can't be that many options given that an M&M is not that big.

If A asks for advice and B gives advice. Then does it make sense for A to come back and say, no I didn't want you to say that, I wanted you to say something else? No it doesn't. Shoot, all this time that you have been PMing me, you could have thought up something to put on your M&Ms!
How about this for a gift: Why don't you tell my new Soror how you were cyberstalking one of her sorors for advice about what to put on an M&M. How about that for a gift? That might go over well.
