My thought on Jessica is that she was the one with the mutant powers, and however she was related to Niki (friends, family, same home town, etc) she took advantage of Niki by leaping over to her body upon death (possibly suicide)

I was kind of annonyed that they even attempted to make it climatic when Sylar and Peter were laying in a broken mess after the fall. We already knew that Sylar could survive being shot so there was no reason to believe he was dead. Peter absorbs powers and was momments before touching Claire so there was no reason to think he'd stay dead. I missed Hiro and Matt this episode.

Definitely. But it was even better to see that she'd been Sylar-ed.

But did Peter absorb any of Sylar's 'powers'?
If so, look for a jail break next week as I do not think Dad has any thought of helping anyone but his 'daughter' and himself.

I thought that all the "Heroes" would have to come together to save the cheerleader. I was somewhat disappointed with the episode.

Was anyone else surprised at the implication that Claire's friend is gay? I thought he was in luv with her.

That's what I thought too. I have many gay friends, but none would ever take a ladder up to my window and help me sneak out.

For a brief moment, when Peter looked at the photo of the painting, I thought that it was Claire's friend that lay dead in front of the HS, not Peter. They both have dark hair and are moody looking.

Did Claire's friend really admit he was gay? I thought the other cheerleader said he was and then the friend said something like, "I don't care, it doesn't really matter what she thinks of me." I didn't think he was actually saying he was gay.

OH HOLY EYEBROWS, SYLAR!

I have lots of questions as well...

What exactly was Sylar's 1st power-was it just being able to see/hear what is wrong with something and it grew from there?

I am curious to see how exactly Sylar gains the power after killing them...does he get the power just by touching their brain? And does this mean that his ability and Peter's are similiar in some ways? Just that Peter does not need to kill to absorb a power?

I guess Eden was successful in getting at least Claire's pic off the Dr. Suresh's list since Sylar killed the wrong cheerleader. Eden has the power of getting whatever she wants?

What did Niki/Jessica's dad do to them that was so horrible?

I enjoyed the Hiro/Charlie storyline. How cute he fell in love! Aishiteru!

Which hero do you think they'll kill off before the hiatus?

IMHO it is a bit too soon for that.

Of course it is. They need to drag it out at least until the Season Finale.

Just found this on MSNBC.com :
Save the cheerleader, save ‘Heroes’?

Sure, ‘Heroes’ is hot, but its much-hyped episode was a let-down

Well, with the time-traveling that goes on in the show it's not at all unlikely that the school scene may get replayed with different consequences later in the season.
