They've just been building L/L up for the past 6 seasons. You know that Luke's liked her since season 1!

I just think that Christopher is too immature. Parenting didn't change that (wanted to send GiGi to Paris w/ the nanny) and money hasn't either...

At this point I don't even know. They're adorable but so are Luke and Lorelai. I predict she freaks out and annuls the marriage or something when it finally sinks in what she's done. She just sucks at commitment.

I'm with you, adpiucf. Luke screwed things up too much. I can't see Lorelai ever going back to him. Christopher has really matured (since we first met him). He and Lorelai belong together.

However, from the previews from next week, I definitely think they should have waited to get married in Stars Hollow. Rory is pissed!

Also, Rory's new friends are still totally creeping me out.

I don't mind them together, although it's pretty clear she's not that into him. That said, I don't care for her and Luke together, either. I think they're better as friends. Their "romantic" relationship was jacked.

I wish she'd be, you know, alone and independent for a while now.

No, I like them together too. I think the Luke and Lorelai storyline is played out. I think she and Christopher are good together. I do think they should have at least called Rory to tell her that they were getting married.

Was their trip only two days? With all the hype leading up to it I thought it was going to be two weeks minimum. I can imagine L/C insisting on taking GiGi to EuroDisney.
