So, during the Michigan game on Saturday, the announcers on Fox were talking about what will happen AFTER the Michigan-Ohio State game. They said that it is very possible that they will face each other again in the national championship bowl. But, they also said that another team with only one loss could also be invited to that bowl instead. So, here is my prediction:

If Ohio State wins, they will play a different team for the National Championship Bowl. However, if Michigan wins, I predict that they will have Ohio State and Michigan play again. The logic is this... They have been ranking The OSU #1 all season and will want to save face in that ranking by showing that Michigan's win over OSU in Columbus was a fluke and that OSU is the better team overall. If OSU wins, they won't have to prove that. That's just my prediction.. we'll have to see what happens.

They also came out and said that because we lost.......the likelihood that Michigan OSU would play a rematch is highly unlikely.....especially considering that Rutgers is ranked second now in every computer poll for the BCS.

While I don't think they will...if USC beats both Cal and Notre Dame......they will probobly play in the NC...which is ridiculous......and will only start up ESPN's and Sports Medias homosexual love fest with the Trojans. I wanted to throw up after I saw USC go back to #3 after beating a mediocre Oregon......like that was some huge accomplishment. Nevermind that USC was about 19 points combined from losing 3 Pac10 games.

From my point of view.......the winner of the SEC Championship should play for the NC. That coference is ridiculous and makes the Pac10 look like Conf. USA. If Arkansas will have an easy time with Miss. St....but if they can get through LSU in Baton Rouge and take Florida in the SEC.....then they deserve it more than anyone.

I agree, Arkansas is the most deserving one loss team at this point...I really think they should beat LSU and UF.

I'm a USC alum and even I'll agree we're not nearly the team we once were. We're good. But a lot of teams are good.

ARK has been getting better and better all season.

But USC beat ARK and if both end up with only 1 loss -- wouldn't it be nearly impossible if not impossible for ARK to jump USC?

A few possible scenarios on who will take on the winner of the Michigan at Ohio State game in the BCS Championship.

Southern California: USC goes with end of season wins v. Cal, Notre Dame, and at UCLA. Earlier win over Arkansas propels into the championship game.

Arkansas: The Hogs go if they run the table and is undefeated in the SEC. USC must lose a game too.

Notre Dame: Irish go if they beat Army at home and win in the Coliseum v. USC.

Florida: Florida goes if they win out, USC knocks off Notre Dame *and* USC looses to either Cal or UCLA.

Rutgers: Same scenario as Florida but Arkansas would need to loose to either LSU or State and win the SEC Championship game over Florida.

Texas: Same scenario as Rutgers but would need RU to lose. It would also help Texas' ranking if Nebraska dominates Colorado.

Ohio State/Michigan looser: Long shot. Major upheaval by all the above teams needs to happen. Not impossible, but not likely.
