Brooke was introduced on the show about 15 years ago as a bad-girl teenager who came to live with her (now deceased on the show and in real life) rich Aunt Phoebe. (Oh, you missed the BEST character.. Phoebe was a classic-- unlike any other on AMC!)
She eventually straightened up her act, and went on to become a reporter. She married Tom Cudahy (ex football star). They had a daughter, Laura, who was struck and killed by a drunk driver. She never got over the death of her daughter.
Jamie (you know.. the hottie on the show who is now having a "thing" with Julia) is her son.
Brooke was married at one time to Tad Martin, Adam Chandler, Edmund Grey (now deceased) and Tom Cudahy.
She's the editor of Tempo Magazine.
