Haha, is it those from that TVB station? When I was living in back in asia, my dad hated those shows and didn't allow us to watch it. So we end up watching the english channel instead that's why I was able to keep up my english despite the fact I lived there for half my life (but I was born in the states)
But yeah, I have to admit their acting is silly too!
Probably. I think Fairchild TV airs imported shows from both HK networks as well as a few locally made shows (mostly talk shows and news programs. All in Chinese.)

I've falling in love with Koeran dramas. We get AZN and ImaginAsian TV. Both are on digital cable. My two favorites are Princess Hours and White Tower
I like watching Coupling and Keeping Up Appearances on PBS. I don't really watch that many foreign films, but I've liked Life Is Beautiful, Run Lola Run, House of Flying Daggers, Crouching Tiger/Hidden Dragon, Raise the Red Lantern, Hero, and Brother.
What Not To Wear (BBC version)-I love the British version better than the American version. Althought the two new women on the BBC version will take some time to adjust to
Footballers Wive$- better than Desperate Housewives
Mile High- a real guilty pleasure
Katie and Peter- It's on E! just in case you have been living under a rock. (If this show ever gets on DVD here in America, it will be high on my wish list)
Cutey Honey- Japanese anime from the 1970s. (It's their version of Wonder Woman)
Candy Candy- real touching anime series in the 1970s. The first part of the series reminds me of Cinderella. I wish that I can post a link for you all to see the first episode with the English Subtitles, but that persons account have been suspended on youtube. Sorry.
