I think that those watches are gorgeous, and not tacky at all. They are really fun! I have a Skagen in pink that looks kind of like those, but it was only about $200. I bought it one day when I forgot to wear my watch.
I just wear a rather plain silver Swiss Army watch. It goes with everything.
For dressier occasions, I have a tiny white gold and diamond watch, and a yellow gold Ebel, which is unique and probably really old. My grandfather was a jeweler, and after he and my grandmother passed away
my dad inherited their home and the old jewelry shop, along with what was left in the safe.
