He didn't want there to be a video clip of him apologizing, so he had someone from his office post an apology on his website.
That's hardly an apology, and it hardly gets us to "Ok, he apologized, let's move on." He didn't apologize -- he had one of his lackeys post a generic apology in a public place, not even his own words. How in the hell did he win the primary again?

Unfortunately, Kerry's actions and apologies (?) have caused him to cancel all pre-election travel and political appearances.
We need him out on the road showing us who he supports, so there's no confusion.
As it stands now, the liberals are afraid to let Kerry, Pelosi, Reid, Kennedy, Jackson, or Sharpton say anything - hoping voters won't know the truth.

Exactly, we've been waiting to hear from Bush for some time now. I think he's been teh poster child for this for a few years? We definitely need an "I'm sorry I was wrong" from him.
If we are getting trivial and whatnot. This country is growing far too sensitive to everything. Whatever happened to the hardline Conservatives who stood behind what they said? Those that made statements and stuck to them, instead of cutting and running like these hippie Liberals? Now they speak out against people that do these same things, they want apologies and they make me sad.

I'm sure Bush will apologize for the war as soon as the rest of congress does. Oh right, they were misled by Bush. In that case, they're dumber than I thought.

Funny, I didn't mention war. But we shouldn't expect any apology from Bush about anything anyway. He's a "stay the course" type of guy.
I wouldn't say congress was misled by Bush but lots of Americans have been. Hey, I admit Bush is a freaking political genius. He appeals to a base of people that he could probably give two poopies about. To think that the man is truly passionate about the abortion or gay rights (marriage) issues is somewhat naive. What he does care about is getting that vote, which is a considerable chunk. And he'll do what is necessary to secure it. Pure genius, seriously.
But to be serious, this country has more important things to worry abuot. I like Bocce ball and chocolate cake.

Damasa, Bush is the complete opposite. Now, people around him care about nothing but victory, but Bush is pure ideology, even liberal pundits admit that.

Not that it would ever be an issue, of course, since Castro wouldn't allow free elections, much less allow anyone to run against him.
