I always liked his writing style. Even if he said something I disagreed with, I usually wouldn't notice until reading it again. He will be missed.

Thanks Tom for the update. We can never say that Erik didn't leave an impression on GC.
May he rest in peace and may God comfort his family.

GC has a colorful cast of characters and he was certainly one of them. My thoughts go out to Mr. Conard's family, friends and his beloved Tekes.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and the men of Tau Kappa Epsilon. His insight, wisdom and somewhat unique point of view will be missed.

I am saddened to hear this... I always enjoyed reading Erik's posts about Greek history and GLO connections...
He will be missed, especially amongst the LCA's with whom he was so cordial.

Thank you very much for posting this for us.
He was very active with TKE and had worked with other Greek Organizations in the expansion at different schools.
He was a very educated and knowledgeable person who was a firm beleiver in the Greek system for both Frateritys and Sororitys.
I have received emails and calls at the store from his fellow TEKEs who knew he and I were good friends.
He will be missed through out the Greek World.
