Noooooooooo! I love Brooke! But I can't blame her, she has gotten fewer and fewer storylines and face time on AMC.

It's now "all about Babe." UGH! Babe.. go away!

The writers don't seem to understand that us faithful watchers love the characters that have been with us for years... Tad, Dr. Dave, Dr. Joe, Brooke, Adam, Stuart, Myrtle, Erica, etc. etc.

Instead, they're throwing all the storylines to newbies that none of us care about. It's no wonder their ratings are in the dumper.

that's sad to hear... i completely agree with blueangel - all these current storylines with these new actors/actresses are a bunch of baloney, especially since we all know that none of these kids will last half as long as the oldies have.

I read that Simone and Erin are leaving too. There's going to be a serial killer offing people. Very original.

I hate to hear that about Brooke. I started watching AMC when it first started, but have not watched in a couple of years. I tried to watch it the other day and I hardly knew any of the characters. I want the old familiar ones back. Many of the new ones seemed pretty lame.

Brooke was introduced on the show about 15 years ago as a bad-girl teenager who came to live with her (now deceased on the show and in real life) rich Aunt Phoebe. (Oh, you missed the BEST character.. Phoebe was a classic-- unlike any other on AMC!)

She eventually straightened up her act, and went on to become a reporter. She married Tom Cudahy (ex football star). They had a daughter, Laura, who was struck and killed by a drunk driver. She never got over the death of her daughter.

Jamie (you know.. the hottie on the show who is now having a "thing" with Julia) is her son.

Brooke was married at one time to Tad Martin, Adam Chandler, Edmund Grey (now deceased) and Tom Cudahy.

She's the editor of Tempo Magazine.
