YA YA..........some people do not believe. Pretty silly though. debt to society paid, what more can a person do.

I don't think I would be down for felons in my chapter, unless it was related to stealing.

If someone steals from you, life goes on. Plus it is easy to defend yourself from thieves. Ask them hotel people. Before I got saved, me and my girls tried to sneak a TV set from the Comfort Inn. Our room was close to an exit and we had a large van. We could've got away with it very easily. But them fools had the b*tch GLUED to the stand!

But again, I suspect this issue for the fraternity would not be that you couldn't vote, but what you were convicted for--duh.

@Shamika T: I think you need to recommitt your life to Jesus. Such foul language for a lady is quite inapproiate. Why if I were in your presence I would wash your mouth out with soap.

I think it a fair assessment that we all know how people stereotype others for whatever reason. My friend is a good man, he just made a mistake in his life, but it should not be held against him. Some of your BGLO's tend to do such. Not all chapters are the same however. My initial post was to find out if there was some sort of national guideline against people being convicted of a crime not being granted membership.
